In these difficult economic times who couldn't use extra money? The jobless, students, young families, single parents, retirees, everyone seems to be struggling. Retirees are putting off retirement with their funds having taken a blow in the last few years, those who have been retired for a while are pinching pennies because their funds don't go as far as they used to. Factories and businesses are cutting back. College students are looking forward to graduation but worried whether there will be jobs for them in their field. Many recent graduates have had to take jobs outside of their field just to pay back student loans. Kids are returning to live with parents, everyone is squeezed. We all know people affected by the economic times.

There is a way to earn extra money part time from home. Put your computer to work for you a few hours a day and you can develop a very attractive income. Sure that sounds good, but how in the world would you ever do it? That's what I thought too. I knew people could do it, but I didn't ever think I could. I would dream about things I could sell, then think of the pitfalls. I am not a salesperson. I don't want to go chasing my friends and neighbors, I don't want to have parties. For one thing, I live in the country in a rural area, some of that stuff doesn't work here. What could I do? I needed to earn extra money part time from home but how? I checked out the typing online scams, enrolled in the crafting sites and checked out the competition, tried the blogging thing, and did some online marketing. I learned lots and lost some too. I found a few legitimate places to work and talked to some wonderful people along the way. You see my life changed dramatically several years ago and due to health reasons I need to work from home, it's not really just a dream for me, it's a necessity.

The most important things to consider when looking for an online way to earn extra money part time from home are:

1. Is the opportunity legitimate?
2. What is the company's history?
3. Do you believe in the product? Does everybody need more than one and always need it?
4. Is the time commitment realistic? The get rich quick promises are usually too good to be true.
5. Do your homework on the people you will be working with. Can you reach them directly? Do they respond to you?
6. Don't ever allow yourself to be caught up into anything. If it's really a good idea, it still will be tomorrow or next week after you do your research.
